The ABC of recruitment

Welcome to our series about what we believe is the three most important things when it comes to securing the best talent in the Nordics. Since the start in 2019, AvantGarde Search has aimed to become the driver for more modern and agile recruitment services, in what we believe has become a very conservative industry. This has given us the opportunity to recruit for some of the fastest growing technology companies in the Nordics, and now we would like to share some of our thoughts.

In this 3-part series we will share our views on what we experience is the 3 key factors when it comes to making a successful hire.

  1. Agile principles and values.

  2. The importance of employer branding.

  3. Why we should always put the candidate in focus.

To give you a snippet of what will be covered….

Agile (published 05.10.)
Learn as you go along, don’t be afraid of changing tactics, continuously evaluate candidates and process, stakeholders have regular dialogue, constant pace and momentum, constantly reflect, tune and adjust.

Employer Branding (published 09.10.)
Create a great prospect (can be writing, visuals, video, podcast), show your people, show your values, show your plans, show your journey ahead.

Candidate focus (published 12.10.)
Ensure that all candidates experience a great candidate journey / experience, be available, make it easy to communicate, listen to them, treat them in accordance with your values.

If you find this article series interesting, we will welcome the opportunity to discuss this and recruitment with you in more detail. Always great to learn more about companies and how they recruit, and perhaps we could tell you a bit about AvantGarde Search and how we aim to the disruptive force within recruitment.

We are also hosting a breakfast seminar in February of 2024 in Oslo and Copenhagen about Recruitment, the A, the B & The C. Please feel free to contact dominik@avantgardesearch.no to attend.
