Our future growth

By getting closer to our funding round on Folkeinvest, and already having 3MNOK secured (5th of June), we are soon to be ready to set our growth plans into action.
But what exactly are our growth plans? And how do we intend to get there?

So let me fill you in:

To make this as understandable as possible, we might have to turn back time for just a bit.
Our decision to grow, or our thought process towards it, started with the demerger from our Stavanger department in August 2022.

Within autumn 2022, we had set our minds to go “all-in” and grow in a scale that we have never done before. We looked at the current situation of the company and focused on what would need to change to have a healthy base to build on and what we would need to have in place to grow.

After an internal sweep of our processes, we finished our “platform project” and were able to set our sight towards future goals.
But sometimes it is even hard to tell someone where you yourself want to be in five years’ time. Now imagine making that decision for a company. Let me tell you, at first, it seems like an impossible feat.

We started to focus on what we do best, what it is that we can scale to different places outside of Norway and what we could add to our current business in Oslo itself.

2023:

  • We decided that it is time for our first ever funding round where we want to secure 3-5MNOK.

  • More than 60% of our positions in 2022 were management and leadership positions. So, we decided to launch Agile Executive Search. This will give us the possibility to target Start-ups and Scale-ups and help them build their leadership teams and board of directors.

  • We will hire new Talent Sources to specifically target larger enterprises.

  • By late autumn or early winter, we will bring AvantGarde Search to Denmark and start our Nordic growth. The plan is to establish a team for retained recruitment focusing on SMEs.

 

2024:

  • We will grow our Oslo based teams for retained recruitment for SMEs & larger enterprises. Additionally growing Agile Executive search while reaching break even in Norway.

  • We will grow Denmark to six employees by the end of the year.

  • Our next location will be opened in Sweden. Having a different approach to Denmark, we will start off remotely and will move there physically with growing traction.

 

2025:

  • Our initial target growth for all teams in Oslo will be reached.

  • We will establish a new weekly income stream of “contract recruitment” in Oslo.

  • Denmark will have established Agile Executive Search.

  • Office and employees established in Sweden focusing on retained recruitment for SMEs.

  • Nordics are profitable and we can distribute dividends.

 

2026:

  • Continue a healthy growth in all Nordics.

  • Focusing on new areas within Europe.

  • Growth of contract recruitment.

  • Implementing new verticals in Denmark & Sweden.

 

2027:

  • First office outside the Nordics.

 

It is still for us to decide on how our growth will exactly look after 2025 once the Nordic section is profitable. We can think of several different scenarios depending on our drive, the market, and the team’s input.

As of now, we are targeting a growth outside of the Nordics and establishing us there until 2028. From there on we could follow two routes: continue the growth a little longer or investigate different exit possibilities.

What it will be, we do not know yet now.
All we know is that we are set and ready to build.
