To create scalable and optimized software systems.
A lot of the work is about integration with customer systems (sensor hub integration). The position will have focus on low-level embedded programming. You will be responsible for creating tools to bring up new IC platforms. This includes testing, characterisation on Linux embedded platforms, and developing Kernel drivers. Longer-term; there will also be focus on development of new embedded platforms.
Other tasks and responsibilities:
- Participate in design, bring-up, development, debugging and maintenance of embedded system software.
- Participate in design reviews and documentation.
- Work with new technologies that are vital to product development.
- Contribute to software team development patterns and best practices.
- Mentor less experienced team members.
