Sales Executive – IoT & digitalisation Oil & Gas

In some ways, Miros is a start-up with 35 years’ experience. We have recently launched a portfolio of IoT Sensors for data collection, storing, processing and distribution of wave data with a Cloud service on top. Now we need a dedicated and passionate Sales Executive to help us spread the message to the oil and gas sector as well as assisting our customers move forward on their digital journey. Last, but not least; we want you to be responsible for sourcing new customers who need IoT and Cloud solutions to run more efficient and safe operations.

Let us tell you a bit more about the opportunity

Our sales representatives work within vertical markets and your responsibility will be for the Oil and Gas sector in Norway and the rest of Europe. Having the responsibility for developing and implementing our sales strategy for oil and gas in Europe entails establishing a thorough understanding of customer requirements, our product range and its applications towards the sector. The role will involve communicating clearly with all stakeholders in the industry and producing responsive and compelling proposals with the objective to deliver added value to our customers.

Other tasks and responsibilities:

– Participating and presenting at relevant industry conferences and exhibitions
– Build and retain a network within the oil and gas sector
– Market analysis
– Develop a sales strategy for your segment
– Present Miros’ value propositions to customers
– Follow up customers and meet defined targets

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who with a passion for tech and digitalisation. You will have a personal aptitude for solution sales and the ability to develop customer relationships. Other key skill includes negotiation at the highest level, closing sales and developing customer prospects. Finally; you need to have a modern approach to sales and the sales role and have a proven track record of generating sales from a multiple of channels and activities. Experience from selling SaaS to the oil and gas sector is a plus.
